Having spent most of my working life in the computer industry, I discovered Pilates when I was recovering from a knee operation in my 40s - and like many people found that this NO impact exercise programme was exactly what I needed - to relax and restore.
Having then developed a love for the intelligence of the system that is the Pilates Method, I gave up my busy, desk bound, stressy job and trained as a teacher, in 2007. Since then, I have trained in MANY other modalities that reflect my deep interest in Restorative Movement, and helping people to get out of pain - or sometimes just manage it better through Mindfulness Practice and Self Care tools. |
